Proverbs

Proverbs

1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; 2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. 10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. 11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: 12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: 13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: 14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: 15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: 16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. 17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. 18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. 19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof. 20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: 21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, 22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

Read Acts 18;1-18 and it will tell you about the founding of the Corinthian church.Paul went on a second trip . Paul went by him self to Corinth fropm Atens in about the year 51A.D. Ther he met and preached with Aquila and Priscilla who were Jews. Aquila and Priscilla were just throwen out of Rome. The emperor at that time was Claudius. It seems he through them out because they were Jews. Soon after in Corinth Pail was joined by Silas and Timothy. A Christian group sprang up about 18 monmths latter when Paul left Corinth . The Christion group was mostly pagans 1 Corthians 12 ; 2. They were of lower income people 1 Corinthians 1;26 to 28. Read 1 Corthians 7;21 and you will see some were slaves. There were a fuew well to do people 1 CorinthiaNS 11;22 TO 32. Paul receved word of the immorality among the young people in the church of Corinth. Paul wrote a letter to them but has been long lost.1 Corinthians 5;9. This did no good as latter Paul found out about the sexual problems 1 Corinthians 1;11 and 16;17.

(2).Surly Christ has not been divided among you !
(3).I will destroy the wisdom of the wise man now , your man of learning or your subtle debater limited , all of them , to this passing age?God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish.
(4).If a man must bost , let him bost of the Lord !
Proverbs 19
1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. 2 Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. 3 The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD. 4 Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour. 5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. 6 Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts. 7 All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him. 8 He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good. 9 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish. 10 Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes. 11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression. 12 The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass. 13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping. 14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD. 15 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger. 16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. 17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. 18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. 19 A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again. 20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. 21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand. 22 The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. 23 The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. 24 A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. 25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge. 26 He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach. 27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. 28 An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity. 29 Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.

Have faith

John 14 ; 12 Tells it all. With faith we can do anything.  We just need to have faith and believe. If you don't get to know the Father through Jesus and believe you might as well forget it.
John 14 ; 12 In truth , in very truth I tell you , he who has faith in Me will do what I an doing ; and he will do great things still because I am going to the Father. Indeed anything you ask in My name I will do , so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name I will do it.
John 16 ; 23  In very truth I tell you , if you ask the Father for anything in my name , He will give it you. So far you have asked nothing in My name. Ask and you will receive , that your joy may be complete.
John 20 ; 31 Jesus is the Christ , the Son of God , and that through this faith you may possess life by His name.
Mark 11 ; 23 Have faith in God . I tell you this ; if anyone says to this mountain , "Be lifted from your place and hurled into the sea ", and has NO inward doubts , but believes that what he says is happening , it will be done for him. I tell you , then , whatever you ask for in prayer , believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
(NOTE) - Have faith , & believe and you can be healed of all sickness , or other things you may ask for. The more we pray , the more we praise God , the more  we thank God ,the more we talk to God ,the more we read His word , and the more we have faith and believe the more our prayers WILL be answered. Mark 11 ; 24   I (Jesus) Tell You Then , Whatever You Ask For In Prayer , BELIEVE That You Have Received It  And It Will Be Yours.
But here is the thing to remember when you ask God for something. Mark 11; 25 And when you stand praying , if you have a grievance against anyone , forgive him , so that your Father in heaven may forgive you the wrongs you have done.
Mark 10 ; 51 - 52 Jesus said to  him , "What do you want Me to do for you ?"   "Master " the blind man answered , "I want my sight back ." Jesus said to him , "Go ; your faith has cured you."
Matthew 17 ; 19 - 20 Afterwards the disciples came to Jesus , and ask Him privately , "Why could not we cast it out? ( A demon ) He answered , "Your faith is too small . I tell you this ; if you have faith no bigger even than a mustard-seed you will say to this mountain , ""MONE from here to there!"" and it will MOVE ; nothing will prove impossible for you."
Matthew 18 ; 19 - 20 again I tell you this ; if two of you agree on earth about any request you have to make , that request will be granted by My heavenly Father. For where two or three have met together in My name , I am there among them."
(NOTE)- So have faith , believe , pray , and ask for forgineness

John 12 ; 25

John 12 ; 25
The man who loves himself is lost , but he who hates himself in this world will be kept safe for eternal life

Friday, November 11, 2011

Jesus Christ said in John 5 ; 24 - 25 I very truth anyone who gives heed to what I say and puts his trust in Him who sent me has hold of eternal life and does not come up for judgment , but has already passed from death to life. (NOTE) - In very truth, ( it is the truth Jesus does not lie ) Anyone , (That is anyone not one race , one church , or one religion but anyone. Praise God ! So not just the chosen people the Jews but all of us.) Anyone who gives heed to what I say. ( HUM ?) Anyone who gives heed to what Jesus says. Heed? To hear , to believe , to do as Jesus tells us to do, to love the Father in Heaven , to love Jesus , to believe Jesus is our Savior, to do the Lord's will. So if you do not believe what Jesus taught , or you are not doing His will then you are not taking heed. So if we give heed and trust in Him who sent Jesus. ( Who sent Jesus ? Right God the Father in Heaven ) So we give heed , trust in God the Father believe then we have hold of eternal life. So if Jesus gives us eternal life that means we do not come up for judgment , but have already passed from death to life. So does this mean we can just go on sinning then ? No we must repent , ask for forgiveness , and live our lives for the Lord.

Then Jesus goes on to tell us in John 5 ; 25 - 26 In truth in very truth I ( Jesus ) tell you , a time is coming indeed it is already here when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God and all who hear shall come to life. For as the Father has life - giving power in Himself, so has the Son , by the Fathers gift.(NOTE)- As in truth very truth I tell you , a time is coming indeed it is already here , when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God  , and ALL ! That is ALL who hear shall come to life. So as soon as Jesus came to earth the dead could hear him. To show us all the power of Jesus and that the dead do hear His voice We need to turn to John 11 ; 1 - 57  (John 11 ; 11 it reads , Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I shall go and wake him .

V-17 When Jesus got there Lazarus was already dead four days dead. ( So he would have been very very dead. ) John 11 ; 44 Then He (Jesus) raised His voice in a great cry Lazarus cone forth  the dead man came out.

John 5 26  For as the Father has life - giving power in Himself , so has the Son , by the Father's gifts. ( So The Father and Jesus  are 2 beings not one as some teach )

John 5 ; 27 - 30 All who are in the grave shall hear His voice and come out ; Those who have done right will rise to life ; those who have done wrong will rise to hear their doom. ( NOTE ) - John 5 ; 30 Those who have done wrong will rise to hear their doom. WOW !

John 6 ; 37 - 40 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the man who comes to Me I will NEVER turn away. ( Note)- You come to Jesus and give Him all your hart and soul with all your strength He will never turn you away.

V-38 I have come down from Heaven , not to do My own will , but the will of Him who sent Me. (NOTE)- Not to do My own will , but the will of Him who sent Me. Again this tells is that God the father and Jesus the Sun are two different beings and not one. But they do work together in the same mind and same will as one.

John 6 ; 47 In truth , in very truth I tell you , the believer possesses eternal life. I am the bread of life.

Matthew 3 ; 7 - 12

Matthew 3 ; 7 - 12

Who warned you to escape from the coming retribution ? Then prove your repentance by the fruit it bears ; and do not presume to say to yourselves , "We have Abraham for our father." I tell you that God can make children for Abraham out of these stones here. Already the Axe is laid to the roots of the trees ; and every tree that fails to produce good fruit is cut down and thrown on the fire. I baptize you with water , for repentance ; but the one who comes after me is mightier then I . I am not fit to take off his shoes . He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His shovel is ready in his hand and he will winnow his threshing-floor ; the wheat he will gather into his granary , but he will burn the chaff on a fire that can never go out."

(NOTE) who said this ? Yes you are right John the Baptist. John was telling us here to serve the Lord , and use the gifts God has given us. He also is telling us it don't make a difference who we are, Red , yellow , black , Brown , or wight. That won't get us to heaven. But Jesus and serving Jesus can. He was also telling us we need to be baptize and be baptized by the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3 ; 13 Then Jesus arrived at the Jordan from Galilee , and came to John to be baptized by him.

(NOTE) - Even Jesus had to be baptized before He began His work on earth.

Matthew 3 ; 16 - 17 After baptism Jesus came up out of the water at once , and at that moment heaven opened ; he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove to alight upon him ; and a voice from heaven was heard saying , " THIS IS MY SON , MY BELOVED, ON WHOM MY FAVOR RESTS."

(NOTE ) - WOW ! Praise the Lord , Praise God , Praise God , Praise Jesus , Thank you Jesus. Oh thank you.

Isn't that great ? A dove to alight upon Him and get this a voice from heaven saying ( This is my Son , my Beloved ). You know where we would be today if Jesus had not arrived on earth then for us.

Mark 6 ; 11

Mark 6; 11 At any place where they will not receive you or listen tio you , shake the dust off your feet as you leave.

Acts 16;16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

(NOTE)- Brother and Sisters in Christ there are still demons on earth.Pastors and those with the armor of the Lord can still cast them out in the name of Jesus. For when Jesus gave his life on the cross , by that blood He gave the power of healing and the casting out of demons. This woman in Acts 16;16-18 Was possessed by a demon . This is why Paul had to cast it out.

Matthew 12;24 tels another name for Satan , Devil or Beelzebub.

Matthew 12; 42

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation

(NOTE)- Jesus cast out the demon. So the demon left. When the demon could not find another human body to live in , he went back to the body he had ben cast out. When he got there he found the house or body nice and clean and neat. The man or wopman had no trubles and all things going well in there life. So the demon went and got 7 mor demons worse then himself to move in with him and moved back in.So why could these demond move back in after Jesus moved them out ? Because the person did not except God the father , Jesus Christ God's son & our savior , & the Holy Spirit.

I know a woman who I cast out a demon. For a long time she went to church and things went well. Her husband would not give up evel things even though he was going to church. They left the church and the demons came back. People there are still demons out there.

Matthew 13 ; 19-23 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Matthew 13 ; 40-43 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 13 ; 49-50 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth

(NOTE)- So live your lives for the Lord
